Pastel Society of Virginia
Fine Art Exhibit
The Pastel Society of Virginia (PSV) was founded by Bonnie Ferguson Butler in early 2011. It is the first pastel society in Virginia to become a member of the distinguished International Association of Pastel Societies. The mission of PSV is to support pastels and pastelists across the Commonwealth of Virginia, demonstrating the beauty of pastels as we encourage pastelists to paint, exhibit, learn, and teach. In about a year, PVS can boast of nearly 60 members from all around Virginia.
You can learn more by contacting Bonnie at skyvine@yahoo.com or visiting their Facebook page.

Who Can Submit?-
The Gallery exhibits the work of artists who have lived or worked in our region. Submissions are

-
Submissions will be reviewed by a selected Buchanan Partners Art Gallery panel. This panel will be led by gallery coordinator, Briton Camphouse.
Please submit a CD, photographs or high quality laser printed sheets. Supplemental materials such as an artist’s statement, an exhibition proposal and a resumé are strongly recommended. Please make sure to specify the dimensions to be sure the work can be accommodated in the Gallery space. Artists will be notified by email regarding their proposal. If you wish to have your portfolio returned, please provide us with self-addressed and proper packaging for the pieces submitted, and postage.
Please note: The artist is responsible for the delivery of their work. We will retain your shipping and storage crates for repacking. The artist is also responsible for retrieving their work.
