Enjoy a variety sampler of Gilbert and Sullivan’s "Savoy Operas," masterpieces of musical theater that embodied—and helped create—the manners, mores, and style of late Victorian London.  Get a glimpse inside the artistic process at this partially staged performance "in workshop” that includes insightful commentary on comedy and satire and excerpts from well-known operettas such as Pirates of Penzance and The Mikado along with lesser-known works like Ruddigore and Patience.  This event launches Mason's Year of Gilbert and Sullivan Celebration.

Tickets:
$20 General Admission
$10 Students, Staff, Seniors and Groups

This performance will also take place at the Center for the Art's Harris Theatre (located on the Fairfax Campus) on Feb. 17 & 18 at 8 pm. Learn more here.
