Sleeping Beauty

There’s nothing else quite as impressive as Russian ballet, especially when it’s Tchaikovsky. So when Russia’s most renowned ballet company performs one of Tchaikovsky’s favorite works, it’s an experience not to be missed! In the great tradition of grand ballet, Russian National Ballet Theatre presents Sleeping Beauty, the magical tale of the beautiful princess who waits in slumber to be awakened by the kiss of her prince. Petipa’s brilliant choreography, considered by many to be the crowning jewel of his career, is enriched by the dazzling sets and costumes of this stunning production. Combine this with Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score—which he felt was perhaps his best piece of music—and the awesome skill of these brilliant dancers, and the result is an evening of extraordinary entertainment.
